We research and design computational processes
in hard-tech contexts.
We believe that design is critically concerned with the social, environmental, and economic challenges in our complex society and that solving problems in the real world requires engaging the physical world.
Our design work engages systems of production, material knowledge, and labor forces to expand context beyond site. We invent tools and processes to reconfigure materials into novel states. Our current research investigates novel workflows in textile fabrication at an architectural scale.
